Hello and welcome. I am pleased to share some of my training and educational experiences with you. Born and raised in New Jersey, I gained my undergraduate degree in psychology from Ramapo College in 2005. As a post-bachelorette I completed my Elementary Education Certification, also from Ramapo, in 2009.
Subsequently, I attended graduate school at Montclair State University and earned a Master of Arts degree in Educational Psychology with a concentration in Child/ Adolescent Clinical Psychology. During this time I began clinical training at West Bergen Mental Healthcare and focused on working with children, teens and families for the next few years.
After moving to the Bay Area for my doctoral program, I continued my work with youth and families but also learned that I love working with adults and individuals at all stages of life. While working in San Francisco, I was fortunate to gain experience with diverse clients from an array of different backgrounds.
For the past three years I have completed my pre and post doctoral training in college counseling centers. I have loved working with students who are beginning to individuate from their family units and forging their own way in the world. I am very familiar with young adult issues and welcome the opportunity to continue to work with this population in private practice.
In 2018 I earned my PsyD in Clinical Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies. my doctoral research was focused on yoga practice as preventative psychology for youth.
